Time Warner’s Filmed Entertainment division saw revenues increase to $12.6 billion in 2011, this is in part thanks to Arkham City, Mortal Kombat and various LEGO titles.
EGM’s TAKE: Of course, much of this revenue was garnered from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two, but it just goes to show how important game development is becoming to the company. Six million is an impressive total for any game, although that is shipped and not sold. We already know it sold a lot. The question is what else can Rocksteady pull out of the bag?
