THE BUZZ: Skylander Spyro’s Adventure has made history by being the first game to feature cross-platform data sharing between the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, 3DS, and PC.
Developers Joel Cohenl and Alec Sokolow revealed that players will be able to share creature data acorss all platforms, which Activision has confirmed.
EGM’s TAKE: Data sharing is a fantastic concept, and hopefully little Spyro will act as the guinea pig for other developers to investigate the possibilities of cross-platform sharing with future titles.
