Speaking to PSM3 magazine, Todd Howard – director of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – had some strong words in regards to glasses-based 3D technology for video games.

“Honestly, I couldn’t care less – having to wear those glasses! I’m not a 3D fan. It ruins the image for me.”

“I want the clarity,” Howard stated.

PSM3 then asked if he thought 3D would continue as a technology for gaming.

“I think everyone’s going to keep trying,” Howard replied. “But I’m not sure.”
