The Elder Scrolls

Nintendo announced during its latest Nintendo Direct that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be coming to the Switch on November 17th.

In addition to being able to play Skyrim anywhere, the Switch port will also include the Champion’s tunic, Hylian shield, and Master Sword from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which you can get by tapping a compatible Zelda amiibo. However, you will also be able to earn these items in game by finding treasure chests whose looks are based on those in Breath of the Wild, as well.

November 17th is a good day for Elder Scrolls fans, as Skyrim VR is launching the same day for PlayStation VR.

Michael Goroff has been gaming for almost three decades. He's a lover of all games and systems, but he mostly plays Xbox. That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.

Skyrim on the Switch finally has an actual release date

The first Elder Scrolls game on a Nintendo console is arriving just in time for the holidays.
