Skyrim Patch 1.4 Final now Available On Steam

THE BUZZ: Bethesda has released patch 1.4 to all Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim players on Steam.

The patch has been going through beta testing on the service and now the final version is available to all. It is currently still going through certification on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and should be available soon. The full patch notes can be found here.

EGM’s TAKE: Patch 1.4 is a major step for Skyrim, fixing a ton of quest issues and bugs in game. The one fix that fans have been clambering for is the PlayStation 3 lag fix, which is also included in this patch. This is why PC gamers have an advantage as there’s no certification process for patches, meaning that as soon as something needs fixing the team can implement it quickly, something that would seriously benefit consoles. Pretty much every major bug has been squashed with this update which should make fans more than happy. Now all we have to do is wait for news of DLC.
