Bethesda has announced that patch 1.9 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available to download in its final form on Steam, with a console release set to follow shortly.

The patch has been available as a beta on Steam for the last few weeks and is now available to all. ”For console players out there, we’re hoping to release 1.9 later this month,” Bethesda said on its blog.

Patch 1.9 adds a new Legendary difficulty and also removes the game’s level cap by allowing players to reset skills to begin leveling them all over again, offering more experience gains.
