THE BUZZ: Numerous players report severe lag issues occurring in the PlayStation 3 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, once their save files exceed 5-6MB.

Players state that unplayable lag occurs making them unable to interact with NPCs or complete quests once the save data passes a certain size. Bethesda announced a few days ago that they are hard at work on a patch for all versions of the game, so hopefully this issue will also be addressed.

EGM’s TAKE: Problems like this are expected in a game of this size, and as long as Bethesda fixes the issue quickly all should be well.
