THE BUZZ: Bethesda has announced that patch 1.4 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be releasing at some point today, February 9, and may make it to PlayStation 3 also.
“It’s coming! 1.4 should go up on XBL early tomorrow. PS3 update is looking good too. We’ll update if we get more info from Sony,” said Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing, yesterday.
The full patch notes can be found here.
EGM’s TAKE: PlayStation 3 fans rejoice, that annoying lag which has plagued you for so long is almost gone forever … hopefully. Who knows what will happen when this patch goes live. Rather annoyingly for Bethesda its patches have a habit of causing unforeseen issues, such as dragons flying backwards and other oddities. The numerous quest fixes will also be met with jubilation as many players have been unable to complete certain objectives due to NPCs going missing, items not spawning or NPCs just ignoring players. Hopefully Sony can get the patch up today, and Xbox 360 fans should expect a title update at some point.
