THE BUZZ: Update 1.5 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now live on Xbox 360, and should be coming to PlayStation 3 later today.

“Skyrim 1.5 update is up on Xbox Live. PS3 update should be up “this afternoon” too. We’ll keep you posted,” Bethesda marketing and PR boss Pete Hines tweeted.

Details on the various fixes and a look at the new kill-cam can be found here.

EGM’s TAKE: Finally, after weeks of waiting console players can finally enjoy update 1.5 for Skyrim. The certification process is really hurting console players, delaying major patches by weeks. Hopefully when the next-generation of consoles is released they will be able to implement a faster process in order to keep fans and developers happy.
