Sledgehammer has been moving itself to the forefront of Call of Duty development by being very outspoken about the series over the last few months.
When a fan accused Modern Warfare 3 of copying Battlefield 3 Sledgehammer’s Glen Schofield said;
“We (the people behind MW3) haven’t copied BF3 at all. No need to and never seen much of it. We’re making the sequel to MW2, that’s what we look at.”
In an interview with NowGamer Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey explained what brings fans back to Call of Duty every year;
“It (Call of Duty) is fun, it’s fast, it’s 60 frames per second, what 60 fps mean is it feels smooth, you’re in the action right away. I think that’s what’s been bringing fans back time and time again to Call of Duty.”
