Sly Cooper

Sony’s second-favorite sneak thief will be making another run on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita with Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time this February. (Their first favorite’s probably Solid Snake.)

According to the PlayStation Blog, players will have a lot of options about how and where they want to pick it up.

Aside from getting simultaneous retail and digital releases, Thieves in Time will also be a “Cross Play” title, meaning that you’ll get a free download for the PS Vita version if you buy a new PS3 copy.

If you happened to buy the recently-released Ratchet & Clank Collection, you also have early access to a demo for Thieves in Time. And as if Sly wasn’t getting enough exposure, he’ll also be joining a star-studded list of PlayStation icons when PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale hits shelves later this year.

Better late than never, we suppose.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has actually been sitting on the shelf for a while, originally slated to release in late 2012—but as Sony has noted, they need a steady string of PlayStation Vita releases next year.
