THE BUZZ: Was the drop of the 3DS to $169 just not enough for you? One retailer currently has all models on sale for an extra $20 off.

EGM’s TAKE: While browsing my Twitter feed, I picked up on this bit of info thanks to a tweet from Wario64. He noted that GameStop is currently running a promotion where all colors of the 3DS—including the February 10th launch of the non-bundled pink 3DS—are priced at $149.99.

The sale is supposedly going on until the 12th, which makes it very interesting timing when considering the forthcoming release of the Vita. Could Nintendo have worked with GS to put into action a temporary price drop to see if they could convince people to sitting on the fence about a Vita to instead spend that money on the other gaming handheld out there?
