Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Release Date Announced

THE BUZZ: City Interactive has announced the official release date for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.

The CryEngine 3 title will be releasing for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on August 21.

EGM’s TAKE: Ghost Warrior promises to be the only multi-platform FPS that concentrates purely on the sniping experience. We’ve played a Sniper class in many different games and can safely say it’s one of the most boring. However, this game goes some way to alleviate that by making you feel powerful, allowing more intricate shots to be executed based on wind and bullet drop. Basically it makes you feel like an actual sniper with the power of life and death at your fingertips. Hopefully, it won’t be like the first game where it quickly turned into the usual bullet fest around five minutes into the level.
