THE BUZZ: It appears that the 12 bonus characters that will be included with the PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken are already available in the console version.

Various videos have been popping up on YouTube that show one player accessing the hidden characters from the disc by tricking the game into loading their character profiles instead. Everything is there, from the character art to their move sets, which shows that the data is just waiting to be unlocked by Capcom.

We’d embed one of the videos to show you, but Capcom is currently taking them down at an alarmingly fast rate so it would be pointless.

EGM’s TAKE: With the controversy surrounding the recent Mass Effect 3 day one DLC this is the last thing that fans wanted to hear. If Capcom decides to charge for the Vita bonus characters, that it said would make their way to consoles, there will be a public outcry. If all the data is already on the disc so Capcom purposely locked it so they could charge for it later, that’s not very sporting is it?
