THE BUZZ: Sega has released a new batch of screenshots for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2, showcasing some of Sonic and Tail’s combo moves along with the game’s first stage, Sylvania Castle.

EGM’s TAKE: Sega has one last chance to prove that new Sonic game’s can live up to its old-school counterparts. But is that even possible? People look back on the old Sonic games like they were the best thing in the world, but they look and play pretty much the same as modern entries. Rose-colored glasses can be a dangerous thing and may result in this being the last Sonic game for quite a while if sales are poor.

Were the old games better? Leave your thoughts below.
