THE BUZZ: If you’ve been interested in picking up Sonic 4: Episode 1, but just weren’t sure about the $15 price point, then Sega has good news for you. Starting today (on Xbox Live Arcade), the game has officially—and permanently—dropped in price from 1200 Microsoft Points ($15) to 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Meanwhile, PlayStation 3 owners will be able to get the same kind of deal next week, when Episode 1 drops in price on PSN on October 18th.

EGM’s TAKE: Sooooo… Sonic 4: Episode 2 is coming at some point, right?
