Sony Announces New Higher-End PS Vita Bundle Featuring 3G and PS+

If you’re looking to pick up your very own PlayStation Vita, but are less concerned with price and more with bang for your buck, then this new Vita bundle might be your thing.
Announced today by Sony, the PS Plus Instant Game Collection PS Vita Bundle—the name could maybe use a bit of work—will bring you all of the following for $299.99:
- A black 3G/Wi-Fi Vita
- A 1-year subscription to PlayStation Plus
- A downloadable voucher for Unit 13
- A 4GB memory card
Okay, first: given the free games you’ll be getting via PS+, and seeing as how Unit 13 is a download voucher instead of a physical copy, it’s downright cruel of Sony to only bundle a 4GB memory card into the package. Could every game you’d get with this system day one even fit on that card?
Beyond that, this isn’t a bad bundle if you were wanting to pick up a 3G-enabled version of the Vita. Personally, I’ve never met any of those people, but I’m sure they’re out there. Otherwise, I’d really like to see price drops, not bundles, but for now I suppose this is all we can really hope for.
