Various Sony developers discussing the PS4’s new DualShock 4 controller in a new video released by the company.

In the video (embedded below), the developers touch upon some of the tweaks and changes made to the PS4 controller—such as the new analog sticks, the digital buttons, the addition of the touchpad and the Share button, the speaker—and how none of these takeaway from the familiar feel of the DualShock.

“There have been all these features added to it without compromising the basic feel of the DualShock,” said Scott Rhode, senior vice president of product development for SCE WorldWide Studios.

According to the devs featured in the video, Sony turned to first game developers like Sucker Punch Productions for input when designing the DualShock 4.

PlayStation 4 and the new DualShock 4 launch later this year. My money’s on November.
