Sony Entertainment Europe has announced that it is enabling the What’s New app on PlayStation 4, after disabling it to ensure a smooth launch.

The What’s New feature allows users to keep track of their friends activity, such as videos uploaded, Trophies earned, games played, and more. Sony disabled the app to prevent unnecessary strain on the PlayStation Network during the console’s European launch weekend, but there were still issues despite the platform holder taking precautionary measures.

Yesterday, GFK Chart-Track confirmed that PlayStation 4 is now officially the fastest-selling console in UK history.
