Sony lists The Last of Us: Remastered for PS4 [update: confirmed, details]

Update: President of Worldwide Studios of Sony Computer Entertainment Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed on Twitter that The Last of Us: Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4.

Sony has also shared a few details about the title over on the PlayStation Blog. The Remastered version will be upgraded to 1080p, feature higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, and other gameplay tweaks. Additional content will include the Abandoned Territories Map PackReclaimed Territories Map Pack, and The Last of Us: Left Behind.

Players who pre-order the game at participating retailers will receive the following bonuses:

  • 100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode
  • Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after your complete the single player campaign
  • Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
Pre-order form the PlayStation Store and you’ll also receive:
  • Early Access to the Brawler Survival Skill in Factions Mode
  • Early Access to additional Loadout Points for use in Factions mode
  • Early Access to the Jeep Cap and Surgical Mask for use in Factions mode
The Last of Us: Remastered is set to release this summer.

Original Story: The official Sony Entertainment Network store has revealed The Last of Us: Remastered for PlayStation 4.

A banner currently on the store’s front page lists the title for $59.99. However, clicking on the banner takes you to a “Page Not Found” notice. Sony is still yet to officially announce a PS4 port of the title, despite numerous rumors.

Last month, Sony Eurasia executive Sercan Sulun told Turkish CNN that a PlayStation 4 version of Naughty Dog’s PS3 title would be released this summer and include the game’s Left Behind DLC that released back in February.

When questioned about the possibility of a PS4 port, a Sony representative said: ”At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject.”
