THE BUZZ: Sony has officially confirmed the existence of LittleBigPlanet Karting.

Confirmation came via the official PlayStation Twitter feed: “We can confirm that LittleBigPlanet Karting is in fact in development and we look forward to sharing more on the game soon!”

The game was first mentioned at a Destination PlayStation event earlier this week.

EGM’s TAKE: Little is known about this game, apart from that it will support the PlayStation Move, a steering wheel peripheral and 3D. A smart guess would also be the inclusion of a track editor of some kind, based on this being a LittleBigPlanet game. No release date was mentioned for the title.
