Sony Says To Ask Namco for a Xenosaga HD Remake

Several classic games have received HD re-releases over the last year, but fans looking for a Xenosaga HD upgrade have been told by Sony that they should go and speak to Namco Bandai about it.

One fan on the PlayStation Blog asked about the possibility of a Xenosaga HD remake and Sony rep Morgan Haro gave this reply, “[Publishers] need to sign off on it, but there are technical considerations as well (like will it work with the PS3 firmware to emulate this PS2 title).”

He did offer some hope though by saying, “Make your voice heard on the Namco Bandai forums to have the best possible chance to see this through.”

It appears that someone listened judging by this thread that appeared on the Namco Bandai forums calling for a HD remake, but will the publisher listen?
