Watch Dogs

The Sony Entertainment Network store has possibly outed the launch date for Ubisoft’s delayed Watch Dogs. According to the store page for the PlayStation 3 version of the game, you’ll be able to get your hands on the open-world technothriller on June 30.

Of course, the date might just be a placeholder or even an outright mistake. Given that June 30 falls on a Monday—and that most games traditionally release on Tuesdays—it’s likely not completely accurate, but it might help narrow down the currently vague launch window.

Either way, it’s likely we’ll be getting the real date very soon. This morning, Watch Dogs project manager David Thériault tweeted, “Morning #watchdogs crew!,” accompanied by the hashtag “#bigweek.”

In addition, a pop-up ad was spotted last week on the UK PlayStation site teasing a new trailer featuring the game’s release date. No such trailer has surfaced as of yet.

Whenever it does launch, Watch Dogs will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.
