THE BUZZ: A new Tweet and YouTube link from Sony spokesman Kevin Butler points toward an announcement coming next week, on 10/5, regarding Sony’s ‘Long Live Play’ campaign.

The Tweet doesn’t giving any information, just a hint that something’s up, saying, “Shhh…I’ve got a little something special for you. But let’s keep this between me and the 107,000 of you.”

The video seems to make little sense at first. Soldiers parachuting in, going to a house in the middle of nowhere and checking into what looks like an old-fashioned speakeasy (check your weapons at the door). But if you look carefully you’ll spot all kinds of subtle references to PlayStation games old and new. While we’re waiting for the office word on what this is all about, watch the video and see how many references you can count.
