THE BUZZ: Sony has released a new update for its Tablet S device, adding support for a dual shock controller.
The update allows users to connect a PlayStation 3 controller via USB to the device and then use it to play classic PlayStation titles. The update is available now in Japan and comes with a free copy of an Ape Escape mini-game collection. There is no word on a U.S. release.
EGM’s TAKE: While the addition is a nice idea, it removes the ease of use from the tablet. You’re not going to take your PS3 controller with you on the bus are you?
