Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has stated that the platform holder is waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian.
In a recent visit to the Sony Studios Japan office Games Industry asked Yoshida where the game was, to which he replied, “Yeah, in this building,” but when asked about the game’s format he said, “Ahh… That, I cannot talk about.”
Yoshida continued, “So, we’re waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian in an appropriate way. I can’t… Well, the game is in development, and it’s well staffed, and Ueda-san is here, working – even though he’s not a Sony employee, he’s dedicated to the product. But we’re not ready to update yet.”
This long silence seems to suggest that The Last Guardian is being reworked for PlayStation 4.
