Nintendo Switch

A Nintendo Switch version of SoulCalibur VI is currently not in development, but producer Motohiro Okubo hasn’t shut the door on the game coming to Nintendo’s console in the future.

Speaking to DualShockers at Gamescom, Okubo said that the team is focused on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC releases of the game, but may think about Switch after the game’s launch.

“At the moment there is no development for Switch at all. I understand that the Switch is a very successful hardware, and of course if there is a possibility, then it would be great to do it,” he said. “At the moment we’re focusing on the October 19th launch, so we don’t even have the time to think about that possibility. After the launch we’ll think about the possibility.”

Yesterday, Bandai Namco unveiled Azwel, the latest addition to the SoulCalibur VI roster.

SoulCalibur VI hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 19th, 2018.
