South Park: The Stick of Truth will finally arrive for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this December, Ubisoft announced today.
The Stick of Truth is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment in close collaboration with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone (who wrote the game’s script), who approached the makers of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic directly in 2011. The title was originally a THQ property, but was picked up by Ubisoft earlier this year when THQ’s IPs were sold off in their bankruptcy sale.
In addition to a standard edition, a $79.99 Grand Wizard edition will be available for purchase. The Grand Wizard edition includes a 6-inch Kidrobot figure of Cartman in his Grand Wizard outfit, a map of the town of South Park based on its layout in the game, and the Ultimate Fellowship Pack pre-order DLC. Ultimate Fellowship comes with four exclusive costumes: the Necromancer Sorcerer, Rogue Assassin, Ranger Elf, and Holy Defender. The Ultimate Fellowship Pack will be included with pre-orders of the standard edition as well.
South Park: The Stick of Truth launches on Windows PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 December 10.
