Ubisoft has announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth will be available to purchase standalone on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from February 13th, 2018.

Previously, the only ways to play the game were to pre-purchase South Park: The Fractured But Whole or via backward compatibility on Xbox One. However, next month the game can be purchased separately on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $30. A physical release will also be available on the same day.

The game puts players in the shoes of a new kid in South Park who ends up involved in a war between the humans and elves for The Stick of Truth.

South Park: The Stick of Truth originally released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2014.
