The third episode of season one of Spartan Ops hits Halo 4 on Monday, and it’ll be bringing an important character along with it: Dr. Catherine Halsey, the creator of Cortana.

“Some call Dr. Catherine Halsey a war criminal, others believe her creation of the Spartans saved humanity from extinction,” teases Halo Waypoint. “Whatever you believe, right now she is the UNSC Infinity’s only hope to understand the mysterious artifact retrieved from Requiem, and she needs your boots on the ground to get more intel, Spartan.”

For those of you out there playing Halo 4, how are you enjoying Spartan Ops so far? It’s a very interesting idea—but does it add something truly worthwhile to the game, or is it just a gimmick? Let us know in the comments below!
