Grab a buddy and suit up, because the recently released Spec Ops: The Line is set to get a co-op mode via some free DLC.
The game is already available in the U.S. and is set to release this Friday, June 29, in Europe. 2K Games has announced that the free co-op DLC will release in August, bringing with it four new missions for you and a friend to raise hell in. These missions will take place prior to the game’s main campaign, introducing new locations and characters, not bad for a free update.
2K has left itself a lot of breathing space by adding an “approximately” to that August release window, so don’t get too upset if it doesn’t appear by then.
