The Xbox Live version of Spelunky is coming to PC courtesy of Steam and GOG.com early August, developer Mossmouth announced.

Spelunky originally began its life on Windows PC in 2009. An enhanced version was released on Xbox Live Arcade, which added local multiplayer and crisper, more cartoony visuals over the original’s pixelated art style. The 2009, now titled Spelunky Classic, is available for free on the game’s official website.

Playstation 3 and Vita ports of Spelunky are also in the works, slated for release sometime this summer.

Spelunky launches on Steam and GOG.com for Windows PC on August 8.
