Marvel’s Spider-Man has only been out for a weekend, and the game already has a New Game Plus update promised for an imminent launch.
Twitter user Tony Parker (obviously related to Spider-Man) recently tweeted at developer Insomniac, inquiring about the possibility of a New Game Plus option in Spider-Man’s latest outing. The Insomniac Twitter account confirmed that a New Game Plus option is coming, and that it is in the final stages of polish.

Apart from restarting the game’s campaign with upgrades and gear intact, we don’t yet know what other ancillary features the mode will include. The release date for Spider-Man‘s New Game Plus update is also unspecified, but it will likely be sooner rather than later.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is now available, exclusively on PlayStation 4. For anyone in need of a reason to pick up the game outside of this past weekend’s worth of peer pressure, check out EGM’s official review.
