Ubisoft released the first in-game look at the return of Spies vs. Mercs in Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Spies vs. Mercs is an asymmetrical multiplayer mode first introduced in Pandora Tomorrow that appeared in every subsequent Splinter Cell game until Conviction. The mode sees one team of players assuming control of mercs in the first-person perspective while another team plays as spies in third-person. Mercs must try to stop the spies from hacking specific terminals on the map.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist emerges from the shadows on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U August 20 in North America, August 23 in Europe.
