The next Splatfest heading to Splatoon 2 may have the craziest theme yet: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The unexpected collaboration with Nickelodeon will run for three weeks. The first Splatfest, which kicks off on May 4th, will pit Leonardo against Raphael, with players battling for their favorite Ninja Turtle. Then, on May 11th, the following weekend, a second Splatfest pitting Donatello against Michelangelo will take place. A final Splatfest will occur on May 18th, with the winners of the first two rounds going head-to-head to determine the ultimate fan-favorite Ninja Turtle.

“We love working with unexpected partners to expand our brand and bring smiles to people’s faces in surprising ways,” said Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, Doug Bowser. “Teaming up with Nickelodeon and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made perfect sense, as we share many of the same fans who enjoy family-friendly entertainment and classic characters.”

Each Splatfest will begin at 9 p.m. PT on the Friday of their respective weeks and run for 24 hours.

Splatoon 2 is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
