Nintendo’s already put Splatoon in your Miitomo, and now it’s following up by putting Miitomo in your Splatoon.

That’s right, the next Splatfest on the schedule is, if not straight-up Miitomo-themed, definitely Miitomo-inspired. This time, your Inkling is presented with a choice that comes down to clothing: Would they rather go to a fancy dress-up party or a costume party?

For the first time, this Splatfest brings together players from all over the world. All three Japanese, European, and North American regions share the theme and will be able to play against one another. Head to the in-game plaza this week to choose a side.

It’s important to note that this worldwide cross-play changes up the usual 24-hour format of the Splatfests in order to incorporate more time zones. This time, the Splatfest begins at 8 p.m. PT on Friday, May 13th, and runs until 3 a.m. PT on Sunday, May 15th, extending the festivities for an extra seven hours.

She still retains skills from this dark period in her life, such as the ability to teleport instantly across the house away from the computer, and holds a gold medal in the Olympic sport of “Hide the Gameboy.” Sorry, Mom, now you know.
