Sports Champions 2 To Offer New Games, Better Calibration For PS Move

Posted on August 10, 2012 AT 02:46pm

Right now, everybody has Olympic fever—so what better time for Sony to show off some of what you’ll be doing in their upcoming Move-powered release Sports Champions 2?

Yes, indeed–there are still reasons to use your PlayStation Move controllers! Sometimes, it’s easy to forget.

Sports Champions 2 will be launching this fall, and will be bringing with it five new events—skiing, boxing, tennis, bowling, and golf—as well as offering up a “much-evolved” archery mode. Another big change in Sports Champions 2? Better calibration for the Move controller. Zindagi Games project manager Colin O’Hara noted that some found the first game’s Move calibration to be annoying; in Sports Champions 2, the game will read much of the needed calibration data at start-up, and from there, other necessary moments of information gathering will be integrated into the games themselves.
