A new video for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy shows off gameplay from the remake of Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage.

In the trailer below we get to see the improved version of the Hurricos Realm from the second game in the series. In this level, players must collect diodes to turn off electrical fields blocking their path and take down the giant Gear Grinders who are terrorizing the locals and sabotaging their machines.

The developer notes that all of the characters and enemies found in this level stay truthful to their original designs. However, a few little tweaks have been made to improve things, such as the way the Gear Grinders now interact with the robots they are sabotaging.

The trilogy includes remastered version of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, with improved graphics, updated controls, brand-new lighting, and recreated cinematics.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy launches September 21st, 2018 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
