THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has announced the official release dates for two of its major 3DS titles.

Theatrythm Final Fantasy, a screen tapping journey celebrating 25 years of the series, will release July 3 exclusively on 3DS.

Square’s other RPG entry, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, is set to launch July 31.

EGM’s TAKE: July is set to be a massive month for both 3DS owners and role-playing fanatics. Not only will they get their hands on the latest entry in the Kingdom Hearts series, but also a cute Final Fantasy spin-off that gloriously tracks 25 years of gaming. Personally, we’re most excited for a new Kingdom Hearts game, we just wish that Kingdom Hearts 3 would come along already.
