THE BUZZ: Tetsuya Nomura, producer of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, has revealed that Square-Enix currently has a secret team working on an unannounced title.

“There is also a secret team working on an unannounced title, so there is a chance that some information about that will be announced this year too, please continue looking forward to these announcements,” he told Famitsu.

EGM’s TAKE: This is one hell of a tease, what could this mysterious title be? Could it be Final Fantasy XV? Square-Enic recently filed a trademark for “Sleeping Dogs” which many believe to be Kane and Lynch 3, is this the title Tetsuya is referring to? Our best bet is a new RPG considering who it is that is teasing the title. There’s always the slim possibility of Kingdom Hearts 3, but it’s already been said that this won’t start development until Versus XIII is out the door. Our secret hope is for a new game in the Chrono series. Please Square-Enix, hear our prayers.
