Following mysterious teases yesterday, Square Enix and Marvel have announced a multi-year, multi-game partnership.

The Avengers project is being worked on by Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos Montreal, the team behind the Deus Ex series.

The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise,” Marvel writes. “Featuring a completely original story, it will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come.”

More details about The Avengers project and other games related to the new partnership will be shared in 2018.
