THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has offered a sneak preview of the second primal battle coming to Final Fantasy XIV, against the mighty Garuda.

Two videos have been released, the first offers a preview of the actual fight that will take place in the Howling Eye, and the second shows what weapons Garuda will drop upon defeating her.

Last week, Square announced several incentive rewards for returning and loyal players.

EGM’s TAKE: Based on the battle with Ifrit, the first primal, players are in for a tough time. But isn’t that what fans want from MMOs, something that provides a challenge and can’t just be destroyed in one try? Square-Enix is well on the road to recovery with Final Fantasy XIV, however, there’s still a long way to go before it finds redemption.
