Square Enix is set to show at least two trailers during The Spike VGX event this weekend, according to VP of Marketing Karl Stewart.

Rumors strongly suggest that at least one of these trailers will be for a Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider, which is set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. “It’s so hard to keep a secret these days,” a company spokesperson said regarding the next-gen re-release.

“We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December.”

Square may also use the event to show off a new trailer for Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Thief reboot, which is heading to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC in February 2014.

The Spike VGX event will take place this Saturday, December 7.
