Square Enix has finally set an internal date for the next Final Fantasy Versus XIII detail flood, following a ban on sharing information about the game.
Gematsu reports that game director Tetsuya Nomura revealed the news during a Square Enix Radio broadcast. When asked about the lack of information regarding the game he replied, “Even within the company it’s a very delicate problem. The date when we can concretely lift the ban has been decided and we are preparing for that moment. Maybe the details as to why information couldn’t be released might be touched upon at the next information announcement. I’m sorry it’s already overdue, but please wait just a little more.”
Earlier this year rumors started circulating that the reason for the lack of information was that Versus XIII had been canceled and reworked into Final Fantasy XV for PlayStation 4. At the PlayStation 4 event Square Enix promised that it had some big Final Fantasy news to reveal at E3 later this year.
