At this past weekend’s Tokaigi 2015 expo in Chiba, Japan, Square Enix revealed a new Bravely Second trailer that features lots of excellent artwork, plenty of action, and copious amounts of screaming in Japanese. The video likely won’t illuminate too much for non-Japanese fans of the Bravely franchise, but it’s nice to get a further glimpse of what we can expect in the follow-up to Silicon Studio’s surprise RPG throwback hit.

Bravely Second is currently scheduled for an April 23rd debut on the 3DS in Japan, though a Western release remains unconfirmed at this point. Given that Bravely Default‘s sales in North America seemed to exceed Square Enix’s expectations upon its release in February of 2014, however, the wait is likely to be much shorter than the year and a half fans had to endure with the original game.

We still don't have a confirmed Western release just yet, but this trailer adds even more intrigue to what should be a vastly improved take on an already impressive RPG throwback.
