THE BUZZ: In the first of a series of videos, SSX creative director Todd Batty and environment art director Geoff Coates give us a look at the technology behind the creation of the game’s various environments, as well as show off three of those very regions: the Himalayas, Alaska, and Siberia.

EGM’s TAKE: As a long-time SSX fan, I was initially a little worried about how this new SSX was looking in terms of style and direction. The more I’ve seen about the game, however, the more many of those fears have been calmed. I like the atmosphere going on in some of these environments, especially when it comes to things like weather changes, lighting, and storm conditions.
