Star Trek Online’s Season 7 update will add a Gateway Tool, an app that will allow for stat tracking and viewing character information outside of the game.

The tool will work on PCs, mobiles, and tablets and will only offer stat tracking at first, but the plan is to add more functionality to the app in the future. “In its initial release, the STO Gateway will allow players the ability to view their player status and equipped items, ship status and equipped items, bridge officer status and equipped items, and accolades. This list of features is only the beginning of what’s possible — there will be more features and functionality to come,” said developer Cryptic.

The app is solely for use outside of the game and will not be available in-game. A full rundown of the app’s features can be found here.
