Cryptic has finally unveiled Star Trek Online‘s first expansion titled Legacy of Romulus and also given it an official release date.

The Legacy of Romulus will be a free expansion and is set to go live on May 21 offering players a chance to play as a Romulan and captain a Warbird-class vessel. The expansion will also tweak STO‘s trait system and UI as well as offering new story content and several new missions.
