THE BUZZ: Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for its upcoming Star Trek game.
The game is set for release early 2013 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

EGM’s TAKE: As popular as the Star Trek franchise is, it’s never done too well in the world of video games. Even an MMO based on its vast world struggled and ended up making the switch to free to play, though since that move it has done pretty well. But Digital Extremes may have finally hit the sweet spot with this one. It has fantastic graphics, a new film to help support it, and what looks like fluid and action packed gameplay. We were hooked from the second Kirk jumped off that cliff.
