Star Wars Battlefront

Actor and filmmaker Paul Blackthorne has revealed some preliminary details about his role in the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II.

In a response to a fan inquiry on Twitter, Blackthorne revealed that he would be voicing the character Gideon Hask, who is one of the Troopers assigned to the campaign’s Infero squad.

The squad’s leader, Iden Versio, is played by Janina Gavankar, who incidentally starred alongside Blackthorne on the CW TV show Arrow. Details about Blackthorne’s character are currently slim, but the general plot for the single-player campaign follows the Infero Squad as they seek to avenge the death of the Emperor and the destruction of the second Death Star.

Star Wars Battlefront II is slated to launch November 17th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Fans can keep up with everything Star Wars Battlefront II by following our regularly updated guide to the game.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
